Any lights on how is ID values generated?
It is sequential but why it starts with 200?
I hope it's not year.

Correct, it is not based on year. When a model is first created, the history ID's begin with 1000 and then when you add/change the first your first item (in the case below, adding a new custom list), the ID jumps to 200*.
