Top Level of Numbered List

Question

I have a module which applied to a Numbered list. I have applied Top Level and Parent Hierachy to thist list. However in the module, Top Level total doesn't sum up the amount in the list, in fact it doesn't show anything. is this a bug?

You shouldn't have both a top level and a parent hierarchy - you should have one or the other. If you have both, the top level is ignored and the list rolls up into the parent hierarchy, so you'll find the total in the top level of the parent hierarchy (or the grandparent or great-grandparent hierarchy), assuming it has a top level.

You shoudl decide whether you want the list to roll up into another list (parent hierarchy) or whether you want it to have its own top level, then set it up accordingly.
