scatter graph synchronises with hierarchy

Bit of a niche suggestion:

 

I recently used the scatter graph in the new UX and was really happy with the outcome. However, it was not possible to have the scatter chart synchronised with the hierarchy that was driving the chart. 

 

It was disappointing to have to use a filter and user selection to make changes to the data within the chart rather than it be dynamically synced with the relevant list.

 

Happy to provide more information if required but i sense that anyone who has tried to use the scatter charts will know what i am talking about.
