can somebody explain me difference b/w copy down and copy across

Copy Down is when you want to Copy from Top to Bottom (Vertically)

Copy Across is when you want to Copy from Left to Right (Horizontally)

Both of the above actions can be done in one or multiple columns and Rows at a time
