User can edit and update the Display name through the UX. you can refer the update line item (text format) into display name property the list, then publish the Grid in UX.
@lilasququ Assuming you are talking about the display name setting for a numbered list then yes. You can do this by setting a formula in the list property to point to a module. Then, publish this module onto a UX page so when a user edits the display name in the module, the result will reflect in the list.
