in the list, change the drop-down back to the proper Display Name.

Hi Nishi,

I guess you have one more column(list property) called Display Name in your list.(if not please import intolist)

If you have that, please follow below way to mark numbered list with Display Name.

click on General lists-->search E2# Employee List--->go to Display name properties column(beside your numbered list column)---> select Display Name.
