I was wondering if I have missed out something here. Why P2 Product column did not get populated.

I'll not give you the exact answer, but here's my suggestion below which is enough to crack it.
See, Your line item formula is finditem and finditem depends on the ID line item. Think that Something is wrong in ID line item and if you see in the module view ID is coming as a serial number. As numbered list you can't put directly name(list) . Try to bring items name instead of serial number.

I managed to bring the items name using the Product flat and now my P2 Product column is being generated.
