Does anyone know how the connection between anaplan and fluence works… or can point me in the right direction for documentation?
I believes its an in-built API connector within the Fluence application. Wasn't able to locate any formal documentation specific to Anaplan so you may need to reach out to your Anaplan Customer Success Business Partner.
Here is a link to the Fluence Wiki which contains some training and background on how the Fluence Excel Add In works: https://help.fluencexl.com/ . It seems similar to PowerBI where you can connect data from multiple sources into one report.
@pixel speedrun, The connection between Anaplan and Fluence is a complex one, involving several components and processes. Here's a general overview of how it works, along with some resources for further exploration:
Key Components:
Anaplan: A cloud-based platform for financial planning and analysis. Fluence: A data integration and transformation platform. Connection Process:
Data Extraction: Fluence extracts data from various sources, such as databases, spreadsheets, or cloud applications. Data Transformation: Fluence cleans, transforms, and standardizes the extracted data to match Anaplan's requirements. Data Loading: Fluence loads the transformed data into Anaplan's data model. Data Integration: Anaplan integrates the loaded data with its existing data to create a comprehensive view. Data Analysis: Anaplan uses the integrated data to perform various analyses, such as financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.

Hi, Where are the member properties for lists defined in Anaplan XL? In the training documentation there is an example showing a property such as “Birth Date”, which appears to be a list-item attribute. That suggests you can create custom list properties from the Anaplan list. However, when I connect through Anaplan XL, I…
Hi all I have a list of networks organized hierarchically on a list of entities, which is itself organized hierarchically on a list of divisions (organization). An entity can have several networks. I also have a list of product models, which is itself ranked with three higher levels: this “Models” L4 list is ranked at a…
