Data Export Options in Anaplan Data Orchestrator ?

Hi Anaplan Community,

I'm new to Anaplan and exploring integration options for moving data between Anaplan and cloud services.

I successfully exported model data to Google Cloud BigQuery using the CloudWorks integration. However, I couldn't find an option within Anaplan Data Orchestrator (ADO) to directly link model data as the source and BigQuery as the destination for a continuous data export.

My question is:

  1. Does Anaplan's Data Orchestrator(ADO) primarily support data imports into Anaplan and data transformations within the Anaplan environment?
  2. Does it not inherently support exporting data directly from Anaplan models to external cloud services like Google Cloud BigQuery?

    @Ameyak7 : As far as I know, there is not yet available an outbound integration flow from ADO to external sources (like BigQuery, Azure BLOB…etc…).

    For this purpose, CloudWorks is the only direct integration I know of exporting from Anaplan for BigQuery.

    Hello @alexpavel - Appreciate your response on the thread. Yes, I also learned later that the initial release of Anaplan Data Orchestrator included import connectors only.

    Two-way connectors are on the roadmap (maybe sometime in 2025) where they will also bring all the functionalities of CloudWorks into ADO

    While ADO doesn't currently support direct exports to external cloud services, Anaplan provides several other tools and methods to facilitate the movement of data from Anaplan models to platforms like Google Cloud BigQuery.
