I have published a grid in NUX with images visible for each of the items by using URL. Now, there is ask in which users would like to export the grid In Excel with images visible.
Is there a way to export the grid with the images visible in Excel?
Hi @gautamkmr457,
You need to create an export line item that is formatted as text and has the following formula. This will wrap it in the Excel function needed to display the image from the URL.
Example Formula:
Depending on the end users excel security settings they may get some warnings which they will have to step through but it should work.
Example Export Doc:
Word of warning, if there is a display name on the URL you may need to do some processing to the url line item to remove the [*] at the front of the URL as this will cause the IMAGE function in Excel to not work.
Hope that this helps.
Jacob
