Anaplan Level 2 Sprint 3 lesson 3.3.5.3 Check you work at All Products level in INV01 module.

Hi All,

In the Anaplan Level 2 Sprint 3, lesson 3.3.5.3 Check your work , in INV01 Inventory Ordering module I am getting the individual product values for all line items correct like beginning and ending inventory whereas at All Products Level I am getting Beginning inventory and Ending inventory wrong. Please help. Have attached screenshots of the blueprint and the module view.

Hi Varshaa,

Yes, the formula is correct. The issue is not with the formula since you’re getting the right values for Nutzo_bar_en but incorrect results at the All Products level, the problem likely lies with “Submit Purchase Order Request?”.

It might be set to TRUE for some other SKUs, which is affecting the aggregation and leading to incorrect totals.

You can try Submit Purchase Order Request? = FALSE in the formula and check if you get the correct values. If it works, then you’ve identified the issue, just remember to revert the change after testing.

Looks like you're almost there!

The PREVIOUS() is being applied at the aggregated (All Products) level instead of at SKU level first. A review of Beginning and Ending Inventory Summary method may offer a solution.

Hi All,

Is that because the dimension of DAT01 Beginning inventory module is P3 SKU and s G3 Location:Distribution Center? and DEM03 Demand Forecast module's dimension is P3 SKU and accounts that the values are coming wrong in INV01 dimensioned by P3 SKU alone? Please help to resolve the issue.

Yes, for Beginning inventory, the summary as sum and time summary as opening balance and for Ending inventory the summary as sum and the time summary as Closing balance. This is the summary method setting I applied. But the values are wrong at All Products level. Please help to resolve.

Hi,

I guess this might be happening because “Submit Purchase Order Request?” is selected for some SKUs. That is affecting the Final Shipment Amount, which then impacts the Ending Inventory. Since Beginning Inventory is driven by the previous period’s Ending Inventory, it’s also getting affected, which becomes noticeable at the All Products level.

I’ve attached the screenshot of the blueprint view of mine for reference, check it out.

The formula I used for Final Shipment amount is IF NOT Submit Purchase Order Request? THEN 0 ELSE IF NOT Override Suggested Order Amount? THEN Suggested Order Amount for the Month ELSE Override Amount.

Is this correct?

Since I dont know why the values are going wrong at All Products level.Please help since I am stuck with this for a long time😐️

It may be helpful to take a step back and revisit what you’re trying to achieve. @sai123 provided a useful diagnostic approach intended as a test , not a final solution.

The Level 2 training is designed to build your ability to reason through the model logic, so relying on direct answers can undermine that objective.

Given that your SKU-level values are correct while only the All Products level is incorrect, the issue is most likely related to line item summary setting, particularly for Beginning Inventory (and possibly Ending Inventory), rather than the Submit Purchase Order Request? line item.
