If you've got 10 modules on a dashboard, just being able to apply the access to the 1 dashboard, as opposed to the 10 modules that make up the dashboard.

Benefit/impact: 

From a process perspective, biggest benefits are time saving and administrative user experience enhancement. Currently we advise admins to engage their end users via dashboard views but when it comes to setting selective access there isn't one easy view that provides insight into all components of a dashboard. So the administrator is forced to toggle between the dashboard tab, the dashboard itself, filters, modules, and lists to set appropriate access to one view. The ability to bulk assign access to a dashboard based on what's being displayed on that dashboard or perhaps a view that consolidates all the components of a dashboard into one place would alleviate this challenge.
