the best way is to dynamically find the "lowest" rank and extract that. here's how.
It's the classic play with dimension top level and summary type of a line item. Set the rank summary to min, compare the rank against the min, if equel then it is the first. Set that LI summary to first non blank and extract the top level of this line item
