Time Filter Based on Versions

Hi Team,

 

I have a scenario where I want to apply a filter on time (page selector) based on the Version which is also a page selector. I tried creating a time filter module and applied filter but it is not working.

 

 

Example:

If I select Forecast Version then the time page selector should show me FY21, FY22, FY23

If I select Budget Version then the time page selector should display FY 20

If I select Actual Version then the time page Selector should display FY19, FY20

What does your filter module look like?  I would create a module dimensionalized by Version and Time (at the year level) with on line item named Show? which is a boolean.  Then you can use that for your filter.

@rob_marshall  the filter module was by time(year) dimension and version and with display (boolean ) line item.  The filter applies for only one version, however, I tried changing the summary methods yet it didn't work.

@rob_marshall   I tried the same filter, this is not working in UX Filter. If I select Result then 

Version is customised version ( Not anaplan Standard version)

I don't believe you will be able to do that, you will need to put Time in the grid.
