Maintain Native Application Formatting Following Refresh (Excel/PowerPoint Add-Ins)

We have found that when leveraging the Anaplan Add-ins for both Excel and PowerPoint often times any formatting done on the data to resize columns/rows or change fonts/colors is completely lost following a refresh of the underlying data. 

 

We would like the ability to maintain native application formatting when refreshing underlying data to become an option within the Add-in itself. While in Excel it is technically possible to reference the Anaplan data from another sheet to maintain the formatting this is not the desired functionality. In PowerPoint we don't even have that option so we need to reformat whatever data is pulled into a readable format following a refresh.

  • Update - I was able to find this functionality in the Excel Add-in. We would want this functionality in PowerPoint as well.
