Be able to navigate/refresh dashboards while processes are running by other users

It will be a lot more efficient for users to be able to navigate and refresh through the dashboards so at least be able to view the information even if other users are running actions or entering inputs.

 

At the moment, the whole model freezes while other users are processing action or entering inputs.  This sometimes may take considerable time to complete the process and it doesn't make sense for the whole model to freeze.

Also if multiple users are entering inputs and every input takes a few seconds to update, this will effectively delay the input process collectively making Anaplan seem a very slow system.

 

Would there be ways to improve this architecture so that the actual calculation happens in the background without affecting users being able to view and refresh the dashboard without waiting?
