When submitting changes to line item, and you know you did mistake. Please let us ABORT calculation by Anaplan. It will save tie and resources when building model.
YES!!
The good news is that this capability will be present in Polaris. The bad news is that it is not really possible in the Classic engine.
Thank you for your comment. Is that possible to prepare article to explain why it is so hard to make it in the Classic Engine? What we can do as developers to minimalize impact from this inconvenience, except being spotless on writing formulas?Acceptance goes with understanding.
Thx in advance
I've created an extension that attempts to detect common formula errors (such as incorrect data type / missing LOOKUP/SUMs etc), among other features. I've posted about it here: https://community.anaplan.com/t5/Anaplan-Platform/Better-Formula-Editor-for-Anaplan-A-new-Chrome-Firefox-Edge/m-p/128250/highlight/true#M32475
I really agree with your suggestion!
It's really waste of time to wait for Anaplan's reaction🤨
Thank you
@david.harding I have never understood why Anaplan can very quickly generate an accurate time estimate for how long we will be in the penalty box, but can't simply abort the change in the first place.
Basically when model is following planual and disco then time spend for calculating error message is supposed to take minimal time. In new models where there is not much formulas it takes 20 seconds… maybe this is the reason Anaplan is so reluctant doing this functionality for us.
Yes!!
As an Anaplan Tenant Administrator, I need the Export functionality to be able to export all the existing Tenant Level Roles information as well as the role details, into a CSV file, So that I have the accessibility to document and report to my security team. I know this feature is successfully implemented when I can see…
Currently, only Workspace Admins in Anaplan can access certain model metadata and deployment validation panels (such as Revision Tags, Data Tags, etc.) in the Production workspace. For security and compliance reasons, we want to avoid granting admin-level access to users who only need to view this information. There is no…
Currently, Anaplan does not natively restrict number inputs to specific ranges. Users can input any numeric value, which may result in data integrity problems, especially in collaborative or decentralised planning environments. Introducing a validation capability—where model builders set upper and lower bounds for number…
