Utilizing the Excel Add In via Teams

Our organization has recently made a push to utilize Microsoft Teams more and house shared files within the teams channels. I noticed that if a file has an Anaplan Excel Add-in connection that teams will not allow you to utilize it. Has anyone run across this issue and is there a fix? Or does Anaplan plan to have this functionality in the future?

    If you open the file to Excel (rather than opening it within Teams) then it shoud be fine.

    The O365 extension mentioned in last week's Anaplan Live session by @LeighRomeo may have this capability ie have the file open in Teams but still have the add-in available.
