I would encourage Anaplan to enable periods to be broken up into components, e.g. year and month instead of MMM-YY, like in the following example:
This will allow me to draw line charts and plotting different years together.
Currently I have to do this by creating two separate lists (years, months) and re-map my output to this two-dimensional space. It's a cumbersome workaround and having this functionality embedded in Anaplan would make dashboard-building much more efficient.
