Timesum with Date

Hi I want to use Timesum function.

In this page, we can use Timesum function with end date to start date.

But in Anapedia page, it is not suggested to use Date.

Is there some risk to using Timesum function with Date?

Hi.

The purpose of Timesum is to bring the summed values across all time in a non time dimensioned module. if your data is dynamic with time then kindly use movingsum formula.

you will still get the data when you use timesum with time dimensioned module but it will have redundant values(sparsity).
