Sales bonus based on hire month

Hi, I have a requirement to have sales bonus based on the hire date - For example, if an employee is hired after sept of 2022, the employee is eligible to get sales bonus only after Feb 23 onwards. If the employee is hired after sept 23, then s/he is eligible only after Feb 24, etc.. If the employee is hired in or before sept, then s/he is eligible from the same month of hire.. I have used the lag function to move, however, it has to take the year in to consideration as well. Any better way of doing it? Thanks
