How to import Negative Values from txt files

Hi All,

I am importing data from tab separated txt files and I noticed wherever the values are negative, its populating as positive numbers in Anaplan.

As shown in above example the negative values are denoted by a negative sign after the number in the txt file. Is this format supported by Anaplan?

Hi @Shawnm

Anaplan does not recognize the format that you are trying to load. It only recognizes the negative numbers when a negative sign is prefixed with the number or the number is placed in brackets. Eg -100, (100) etc

Anaplan considers 10000.00- as positive only.
It only recognizes the negative numbers when a negative sign is prefixed with the number or placed in brackets.
Example:File I have loaded
