Can you stop revision tags changing versions
I have a model in deployed mode that is synced to a standard model I want to edit modules and formulas in the Standard model however I want to also remove some of the Versions and lists from the model so the Standard model preforms better.
so the standard mode model is a test model and is just for changing modules and formulas and when I sync this to the deployed production model it will only make the changes made to the modules and formulas so I can benefit from the pace and performance of the test model and then look at the data in the production model at many levels over many versions.
I think if this isn't in Anaplan this is potential something that should as like a selector to what the revision tag is copying into the Production model so if I want to only copy versions I can do that or if I only want to copy the modules it can do that while deleting no other data.

Hi Joseph,
Versions are considered structural information.
The ALM process will synchronize structural data from a development model to a deployed model. This is done via revision tags which capture the structure of your development model (source) and then replicate that same structure to your deployed model (target). There is not currently any functionality to isolate specific structural changes within a tag - it is an all or nothing process.
If you haven't read the OEG best practice on versions vs. lists - highly recommend! This covers some of the pros and cons of each including production vs. structural data considerations.
