Why am I receiving the error "Not a recognised line item or list member" in my example?
Hi Anaplan Community
I have two modules (“Allocations Stage 3 Mktng Media Allocation Result” and “Allocated Expenses”) that I want to link together but I am getting the error “Not a recognised line item or list member”.
Below is the blueprint of “Allocations Stage 3 Mktng Media Allocation Result”
Below is the blueprint of “Allocated Expenses’
I have tried to both:
- Type the formula into the line item “Allocated Expenses.Total Allocated Stage 3, and
- Click and point to the line item “Allocations Stage 3 Mktng Media Allocation Result.Total Allocated”, but the same error message occurs.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
George

- I am not able to see the images you intended to share. Can you please re-share it?
- Try to refer to the line items or list members. It looks like the line item name you mentioned does not match the exact line item name. If it's alpha numeric name use apostrophe (') before and after the name of line item like this ('LineItemName')

Hi Dikshant
- Thank you for your response - please see attachment.
2. I have simply pointed and clicked on the line item, with no success.
Please advise.
Thanks

@gcaldis - Can you take a model copy and rename your source module as Test Module and your source line item as Test Line Item and then refer to the same?
This looks strange to me as well! But I want to give it a try! If simplifying the names can do the work, you can rename the module and line item names back to the original.
Do it in the same model; if you feel it's fine, change in current model!

Hi Dikshant
This approach did not work, as the error persists.
Can you please advise another approach?
Thanks
