Reducing Extra Space Before List Item Name in UX for Multi-Level Hierarchy
Hi Everyone,
I’m working with a 6-7 level hierarchy in Anaplan, and at the lowest level, the list item names are quite long. In the UX, I’m seeing extra space before the list item names start at that level after hiding the other higher level list members, which makes the display less clean.
I have already tried adjusting the formatting styles by aligning the row headers, but this did not resolve the issue neither reducing column width worked.
Is there any other method or setting to eliminate this extra space in the UX view?
Thank you!

The grid contains time dimension as columns so adding a line item won’t work in my case as in that scenario i may have to put line item and time dimension both in columns and will have to create an LISS filter so as to only apply current month for line item while other line item value shall be shown for all the months, which won’t look that clean.

LISS may not be of help here due to its limitation to include only numeric lineitems.
How about synchronize scrolling?0

I don't think that's possible. You may have to convert it into a flat list, if that's worthy.

Hide the rows and show it as line item? You can change the font color of rows white so that it's not visible. And let them see the name as a Line item and set a default width for the same Line Item. That way it will look clean.

This can be done, if you want to show both Time and Non Time elements in same view. but LIS is also One Good Option.
