"Clear target prior to import" feature has been changed?

Hello folks!

We are facing a problem with our existing imports. It's set up to clear target prior to importing the data, and in the past, accidentally, the line item mapping tab has been set to clear All Items. Until last week, the import was cleaning only the mapped line items, but now it's cleaning literally all line items within the module (even those that have a different dimensionality in the applies to). It's weird because if the dimension of the subsidiary view is set as not applicable in the mapping tab, we can see the following message in the respective dimension mapping tab: Marked as (Not Applicable) in the Mapping tab. Line items that apply to this dimension will be ignored.

Anyone else is facing the same issue? It seems something changed in this feature.

Thanks in advance.

I wonder if this has to do with the platform maintenance over the weekend. They were delivering new functionality and perhaps something in that release impacted imports. What you've described is very distressing. You may want to roll the model back to when you had data and then delete/recreate that import...

    Good luck!

    Hi @Stacey_Gibbens !

Thanks for the quick response. The import has been fixed, but as you said, it's really distressing and might impact many other imports. Would be nice if someone could explain if it's really related to the last platform maintenance, because at this point the message Marked as (Not Applicable) in the Mapping tab. Line items that apply to this dimension will be ignored. is not true, once the line item with the respective not applicable dimension is being cleared.
