Add the Ability to Set Line Item Format Defaults
In as much detail as possible, describe the problem or experience related to your idea. Please provide the context of what you were trying to do and include specific examples or workarounds:
Oftentimes my clients or I as a model builder have line item format preferences that are different than the existing default. For example, I prefer to have hyphens as the default for zeroes for all number-formatted line items. Currently, I have to set this for every number-formatted line item in the model. If there was a way to set hyphens (or other settings) as the default for all similarly-formatted line items, this would save significant time.
How often is this impacting your users?
This is something I currently deal with any time I create a number-formatted line item.
Who is this impacting? (ex. model builders, solution architects, partners, admins, integration experts, business/end users, executive-level business users)
This impacts model builders, solution architects, and any business/end users who prefer different format settings than the existing defaults.
What would your ideal solution be? How would it add value to your current experience?
The ability to set defaults for different line item formats would save significant time.
Please include any images to help illustrate your experience.

Agree that this would be very helpful and go a long way towards empowering COE to enforce their individual standards for model building excellence. This concept has come up a couple times over the years in the idea exchange (links below), would be great if we can consolidate the votes to get support for this on the roadmap. Thanks!
