How to summarize from daily time setting to monthly?

Hi Everyone! I know this is still pretty basic but I am still learning the basic formulas and functions of Anaplan.

In the first picture as shown below is I derived tons per day:

Now, I must consolidate the monthly tons in a separate module, however it sums up to 0.

Supposedly, there should be a value on Aug 25 and Sep 25. Does using a different time range matter? Because in the 1st photo, I used a defined time range while in the 2nd photo, I used a model calendar.

    The simplest way to address this is to go into summary method on your source line and change the Time Summary to Sum.

    Given you're on a daily timescale which is quite granular, would recommend you leave Summary to None as your target module will do the aggregation.

    It will increase your model sizing a bit, so just be conscious of how dense this list/combination of lists are.

    Time range shouldn't be an issue unless the time range in your source module is shorter than the one in your target.

    Enable Tons line item summary to SUM in PC Daily Allocation and refer it to the month module data will flow.
