Variance reporting - not using native versions
Just to give context we do not use the native versions in Anaplan, rather we use a list name forecast versions and then have a subset of these that we have of these that are marked as those we wish to do variances on, which seems to work well.
We predominantly look at variances at a certain level in our cost centre hierarchy, which is how most of our reporting is set. Example blueprint attached, with the LIS
Then have a similar one that looks at this divisionally, so the Function 3 dimension that was in first screenshot, with D1 Division replacing it in the second.
This also refers to a different LIS, with Divisional Detail replacing the "P&L LIS" that could see in first screenshot.
Had a request to be able to see these combined, however when I attempt to do this we end up with the same values repeating in the grid, see next screenshot
Appreciate that more information may be required but would appreciate any advice on this.

@ChrisMcCarthy - Yes, the system doesn't know which CC to put the value to since the source module (from where the data is being collected) doesn't have a CC dimension.
You'd either have to pull the data from a source that has the CC split or build a logic to split the data between the CCs.0

@ChrisMcCarthy - What are the source & target dimensions? It looks like the target has an additional dimension and hence the source values are being replicated against all the members of that dimension.

@devrathahuja thank you for your response, when you say source and target, do you mean :
Dimensions for the top are:
CC Function 3
D1d Division split Medical
Currency Conversion Selector
Divisional Split - Medical
With the dimensions for the bottom value that uses the COLLECT() function being
CC Function 3
D1d Division split Medical
Currency Conversion Selector
Divisional Split - Medical
Variance Versions - this is a subset of our forecast versions so that it doesn't try to pull values for all of them.
If you meant something else, then please let me know

@ChrisMcCarthy - I meant the source data/module that the LIS is collecting values from.
The issue at hand is that the depreciation of 16572 should be different values for say Mulberry vs SHE right? The total perhaps adding up to 16,572?1 -
CC Function 3LIST
D1d Division split MedicalLIST
Currency Conversion SelectorLIST
Divisional Split – MedicalLine Item Subset
The module for the subset is
FS1 Divisional – Medical (combined) split which is based on the below module
Duplication is occurring due to CC Function3 or a level below this is CC Hierarchy not being in the applies to column, so there isn’t a common dimension for my variance report to pull based on?
