Anaplan Data Import Issue: Numbered List Code Mismatch

Hey Team,

I'm facing a bit of a challenge trying to pull data from a source module into a target module. Here's the situation:

The source module has a numbered list dimension, and I need to bring one specific module's data over.

I've already determined that the target module also needs to use a numbered list because there are some duplicate records and others that exceed 60 characters.

When I create the numbered list in the target, it loads fine. However, when I try to import the module data, nothing gets loaded. It seems the list codes in the source and target don't match up.

My goal is to create these numbered list members in the target module and then import the data without losing any of it.

I even tried using display names, but the import view from the source module is based on the list code, which is where the mismatch lies.

Any insights or suggestions on how to tackle this would be greatly appreciated! I'm looking forward to your valuable input to get this resolved.

    Hi,

I've created 2 Numbered Lists, i.e. Num List 1 and Num List 2 as shown below. Note that Num List 2 has CODEs which can be found in Num List 1.

I've created 2 modules, i.e. Source Module and Target Module 1 as shown below.

The trick lies in the creation of 'Code' in the Source Module and then arranging the module as shown below, before saving it as a saved view.

During the import mapping, do the following:

Num List 2 will match automatically as shown below.

Remember to set 'Num List 1: Name' to '(ignored)'.

The import should work after that.

    Cheers
