Hi,

We have completed a "back to the future" to enable a filter selector (field selector) on the UX.
However when restoring the model back to current state, Anaplan is not able to identify that the new item in PROD is the same item as we have in DEV.

Meaning I can either configure the grid to work for PROD (coming from a Back to the future revision tag) or DEV and UAT (coming from latest revision tag).

I have never had this issue before where PROD and DEV doesn't sync on the UX after a "back to the future" have been done. Anyone have any insight on what can be done to sync the UX? (except sync PROD with the latest Revision tag)

Hi,

It might be to do with line item IDs. When you create the line item in the rolled back dev model it will be given a specific ID which is then transferred to the prod model. You then restore the dev model and recreate the line item but this is actually a new line item with a different ID and not the same one as in Prod. They will realign on the next sync.

A workaround could be make to page work for prod and publish then alter it to work for dev and save but not publish. You can test dev using the preview option for the page and then publish this page after the next sync.
