Hello,

I am unable to fix my Baseline Forecast formula even after going through so many Community articles. I don't know what I'm missing. Please help me!

This formula is giving me data for FY20 (the 1st forecast year). But it's giving me 0s for the second forecast year. I have tried to write the ELSE IF condition to return the value as 1st year forecast amount times (1 + growth rate %). Please advise!

It seems you're encountering an issue where your Baseline Forecast formula populates data for FY20 but returns zeros for FY21.

In your current formula, you're correctly fetching historical volumes for the first forecast year (FY20). However, for subsequent years like FY21, you need to reference the forecasted data from the previous year, typically using the OFFSET function on the 'Default Forecast' line item.

First Forecast Year (FY20): You use the offset volumes from historical data.
Subsequent Years (e.g., FY21): You offset the 'Default Forecast' from the previous year to project the baseline for the current year.

Here's how you can adjust your formula:

IF

	'SYS01 Time Settings By Week'.'1st Forecast Year?'

THEN

	'DAT03 Historic Volumes'.'Offset Volumes for 1st Forecast Year'

ELSE

	OFFSET(Default Forecast, -52, 0)
