Hi community,

I'm currently exploring integration options for direct connection of Anaplan to D365/Yavica and would appreciate your insights.

Specifically, is there a way to integrate data directly into Anaplan without first converting it into CSV format? CloudWorks does not support this functionality, so I'm investigating whether there are alternative methods that bypass the need for CSV transformation.

I'm considering going back to Anaplan Connect and ADO as potential solutions. Could anyone confirm whether these tools support direct integration (e.g., via APIs or connectors) without requiring intermediate CSV files? (except of course - the first set-up of the actions to import).

Additionally, if you're experienced with these tools, what are the capabilities and limitations of each integration method and the skill sets required for implementation and maintenance.

Hi Manuela,
Another option is to use a .txt file. Anaplan only supports .csv and .txt formats.

If your tenant has access to ADO, I suggest starting with that. It’s a newer tool, so there might not be many community Q&As yet. You can begin with the ADO training and reach out to Anaplan Support if you run into issues.

Anaplan Connect is another option, but you'll still need to convert your file to .csv or .txt format.

Each API also has its own documentation (called an "apiary") to help guide setup.
