Does S/MIME Certificate Renewal Impact Anaplan Connect Functionality?

Hi Community,

We are currently using Anaplan Connect to run scheduled batch scripts on a daily basis for data integration.

A query came up regarding the renewal of an S/MIME certificate (used primarily for email encryption and signing). I wanted to confirm:

👉 Does the renewal or expiry of an S/MIME certificate have any impact on the working of Anaplan Connect or these scheduled scripts?

As far as I understand, Anaplan Connect — if using certificate-based authentication — relies on a CA-signed client certificate.

Just looking to clarify whether non-renewal of the S/MIME certificate could cause any disruption in Anaplan Connect functionality or daily scheduled script execution?

Hi, if your S/MIME certificate expires your Anaplan connect scripts will stop working. I would suggest you to renew your certificate before it expires.
