Cumulate Formula breaks for new list member

Hey All,

Really weird issue, and I have no idea what the cause is. I added a 'Q2 v2' custom version list member & bulk copied the 'Q2 v1' data into 'Q2 v2'. While reviewing the data before granting end users access, we found a cumulate statement isn't working for the new version.

All other aspects of the model seem to be working, excepting items referencing this cumulate statement. L5 Asset &C1 Custom Versions lists are production, M29 DCF Time Periods is not.

I'm at a complete loss, any troubleshooting advice would be much appreciated!

Fixed! Looks like that line item wasn't calculated when we added the new list member. I force closed the model from the Manage Tasks page, and re-initializing the model caused that line item to recalculate.

We've also updated the cumulate formula to reference a separate line item with a formula of "1" which will hopefully force that re-calculation when new list members are added.

Hey Rob, are you referring to selective access? Granted myself and the other builder access prior to finding this issue.

Very odd indeed…glad you got it fixed. Also, you can always put an attribute on the Months dimension (SYS Months module) for the month number and then just reference that, so you wouldn't need the cumulate which would be a "cheaper" solution.
