Editing different levels of the hierarchy - has anyone built something similar?

Hello Anaplan Community,

A client wanted to be able to show different levels of the hierarchy in one table, but also to be able to modify all line items belonging to different levels ( like in Excel)

I thought about this for a long time, and the only way I can see it being possible is through a flat list where I bring all the levels of the hierarchy into a single flat list. Then, I would apply a DCA on the line items relevant to each level of the hierarchy in this flat list.

I have no idea if this is scalable, but I can foresee that it will be a maintenance nightmare!!!

Has anyone been able to meet a similar requirement with a cleaner build?

Hi @Noura99 - You should just be able to make the module dimensionalized by the lowest level. In your example, this would Level3.

Then you would have subsidiary line items with the dimensions of L2 for the L2 lines and L1 for the L1 lines.

Then you should be able to edit all of them in the corresponding cells correctly.
