Cloud Works has definitely made it easy to setup routine scheduled refreshes from model to model or simply updating daily dates in the Models, but I had a query regarding the notifications sent out and the level of detail they hold and if anyone has explored this further.
- Success Scenario - Scheduled Integration completes successfully and we get an email. [Short and Sweet just as expected]
[EXTERNAL] Success. Your CloudWorks process integration is complete.
2. Warnings/Failure Scenario -
Although the notification does highlight there are errors, and we need to investigate - it doesn't give sufficient insights like the number of rows impacted, the ID of the rows for debugging i.e. general log details that can help debug further.
We know the required details can be clicked into and checked further in the cloud works specific page by the Integration Admin or the Restricted Integration Admin - But having a flavor of these details in the Automated Email can help up to a great extent.
Eg : - If we know there is a known issue with 1/2 rows that have been generating the error for every run - looking at the email with those records is enough to help analyze and will not need any further login to the cloud works interface to check any further.
