How to Enable Multi-Selection on Page Selectors for Role-Based Access in Anaplan?

Hi Anaplan Community,

I'm currently working on setting up role-based access controls in one of our models, and I’m looking to enable multi-selection on a page selector (e.g., for cost centers or functions etc.) so that users assigned to a role can select and view multiple items simultaneously.

Here’s the specific scenario:

• I have a module/dashboard where users can select a functions (cost center) from a page selector.
• I'd like to allow users (based on their role) to be able to select multiple functions (cost centers) from that selector instead of just one.
• This is mainly for reporting/analysis purposes — not necessarily input.

Questions:

1. Is there a way to enable multi-selection on a page selector in Anaplan?
2. If not natively supported, is there a workaround.
3. Can this be customized per role or even per user?

Any guidance, examples, or best practices would be greatly appreciated!

You need to pivot the data and put the cost center into rows, and then you can create a user specific module dimensionalised by Cost Centers & users and create a boolean for selection. So if they don't select any cost center, it will show all cost centers, if they select multiple cost centers, that data will be filtered out only to those specific cost centers.
