New Ux Sync to connect two grids - How to do this?

Hi Community,

I am in new ux and I have problem with something. If I cannot do this in new ux it will be a big problem. Below is my issue:

I have two grids A first and B next. I have CoA in rows and time in columns. First grid show actuals and second is for forecast input. Entity, Verson and line items are page selectors. What I want is to connect these two with Sync options. i.e if you click on an account in grid A, same account in grid B should also be selected. And grid B should also scroll with A.

I tried everything including a dummy model with Coa list and adding that list in page. Even thats not working. Is there a straight forward way to do this? Sometime I dont see a straight option and keep looking at others.

Any advices will be much helpful.

First of all to sync the two grid while scrolling, your dimension in the row and column should be the same then only the simonize scroll will makes sense. And to sync the grid you have to enable the hierarchy filter to sync them. if still it's not happening then there might be a dimension issues

Thanks for your response.

Both grids A and B have same dimensions. CoA in rows and time in columns. Both lists have to display full account hierarchy so that when scroll down grid A then Grid B should do the same.

If I use hierarchy filter, the rows in the grid will disappear and it follows the hierarchy in page filter. But this is not my requirement. Both should display the whole hierarchy and connected.

@CalvinM might be able to share when something that product have been working about combining grids on the page is coming out (to overcome the whole select the whole row issue)

In the meantime the "syncronise scrolling" will allow you to get that bit working fine
