Hello, I wanted to get some clarification on the following:

"Can the end user see the cumulative total of Final Account Sales Targets for the whole country and by account segment?"

I know by default when you filter on a module the sum would still show the full filtered/unfiltered values.

Is the quota above wanting to only sum on the filtered values?

So if I filter on US - All Segments, the total would be only what's showing?

I don’t remember exactly, what information was given till here in the level(it’s been a while for me) however these are my thoughts:

Yes — if you want the end user to see totals by account segment (and also at the whole-country level), the key is how the module is dimensioned:

• If your module has Country and Account Segment as dimensions (with Final Account Sales Targets as the line item), Anaplan will automatically give you roll-ups at the segment level, country level, and grand total.
• This way, users can view “US – All Segments” (the country total) or drill into “US – Segment A, Segment B…” (the account-segment breakdown).
• If you only dimension by Account and Country, then you’ll need to create a mapping of Account → Segment and use a SUM across that mapping to get segment total.
