I not being able to add 2 assignees when creating an Offline Task when crating a Workflow template. Do I need to crate 2 separate offline tasks, one for each user? Thanks.
I think the 4 options you have are:
Think that this is one for the idea exchange - as believe that's going to be the answer, as don't think the new advanced functionality covers this off. Unless @davewaller can give any insights?
Thanks @andrewtye and @MRedivo - offline tasks can only be assigned to single users at the moment.
A post in the Idea Exchange would be good, and clarity around which approach would work best would also be useful. Is this a single task assigned to multiple people to complete (Can somebody make me a cup of tea?) or a scenario where each user should be assigned the task individually (Can everyone go away and make themselves a cup of tea)? It would also be great to hear more about how you intend to use the task, if you're able to share any more details.
If you stack multiple offline tasks into a single template then you'll suffer from the linear nature of the process - user 2 won't get their task until user 1 is complete, etc.
If you have access to the new Workflow Advanced features then you can make use of Parallel Tasks which will let you trigger up to 20 offline tasks in unison, only moving to the next step when all 20 are complete.
Thank @andrewtye and @davewaller for your answers.
The scenario is two commercial analysts executing the same task but for different business units. The task needs to start at the same time, but the completion has to be independent one from another. Is like to parallel task running at the same time. I guess the solution would it be crating 2 different templates/workflows or move to Workflow Advanced, which I imagine has an extra cost.
Hi all, I am importing a flat file into ADO. However the flat file does not have a unique identifier. I would like to use the row count as the "ID" Is there a way to create this ADO?
Good morning everyone. I need to build a module export with some specific requirements: users can select a currency type (USD/Local), Salary Type (1 or 2), Nomina Type (1 or 2), and Version (Forecast, TS, Plan). Currently, each of these filters is driven by an independent system module published in the NUX, each…
We've been building a tool called aplan4sheets and we'd genuinely like input from this community — both on what we've built so far and on what we should prioritize next. The problem we set out to solve: Anaplan's Excel add-in is Windows-centric, and there's no real native way to pivot Anaplan data in Google Sheets. We…
