Design Grid - "simple" Find Member does not exist anymore - only Advanced Search

Hello,

I used to find Members in the Design Grid Dialog by typing in a text into the search field and pressing the "Find Member" button. The cursor jumped to the first result within the dimension tree.

This does not work anymore. I always get the same dialog as the "Advanced Search" Button.

I am using Version 2511.1.15277.0 on Win11, Excel Version 16.0 build 17932.

Ohhkayy, this is a bit spooky.

I turned off the new interface and restarted Excel. Now, find member works in the old interface!

I remember that I tested the new interface and switched between new/old a few times, maybe this confused some settings…

This is still working for me the way you described and as expected. I am on the same version of AXL.

Hi Elizabeth,

yes, it is different, because I have AnaplanOptions/Preview features/ New visual stiles+New interface "deactivated". I don't use the new interface because it is wasting so much space on the screen, esp. in rows… I have thousands of elements and there is an empty space of 7mm between each of them…

So, the problem sits in the old interface. The "find member" button simply starts the wrong dialog. I hope, this can be fixed in a following version. Maybe, you can adapt the new interface not to waste so much space.

If I use the new interface, the search works like in your screenshot!

unfortunately, I have to reopen the issue. I did not change any settings since last week but the simple search disappeared again.
