Time hierarchy filter new ux when brought forward option is turned on?

Hello,
Does anyone know any workaround or a solution to be able to enable the hierarchy filter in new ux when the brought forward option is selected in backend?

I do not see the above hierarchy filter option if I enable the brought forward for a line item-

Unfortunately the brought forward functionality is incompatible with the way the hierachy filters work so you can't use them in conjunction.

There are 2 options

1- Create a time filter using line item(s) to get the affect you want, but this would register as a write action on your compliance so talk to your BP about this

2- The brought forward feature triggers addition of a extra month for the line prior to the start of the model calendar for that line item. I tend to use additional brought forward line items instead, as I find this is more flexible, transparent and easier to manage calendar roll overs. I create a opening balance SYS module to hold them and publish to an admin page.

Hi @seb_mcmillan ,

The module is a data module where all the logics from staging module are already in place & creating a new module for opening balance would mean extra maintenance as well as possibly calculations for the final line (Due to an additional IF/Else)

I've for now turned off the hierarchy filter and all the months are visible since its for data review but it would be nice if we could at least get the context filter if that particular line item wasn't published but others were?

@seb_mcmillan - I came across a bug too while working with this. It breaks our existing pages (starts showing card failed to load) if we enable the brought forward option. With boards, we're still able to edit it & get the view back but with worksheets it does not let the page builder configure the page and shows page not found and makes us recreate the page entirely.
