We are currently experiencing an issue with the behavior when grid Auto Refresh is disabled. For our use case, it is important that the configured formatting is reflected before any manual refresh is performed. Therefore, we have enabled “Use Embedded Workbook Formatting (Preview)” as a workaround to have the formatting applied on initial load.
However, we believe we have found a potential issue: when a XL file created using “Use Embedded Workbook Formatting (Preview)” is published to the web and opened via the portal, text placed outside the grid is rendered with bottom alignment.
Before publishing, this text is set to center alignment in the workbook, so the web-rendered result appears to differ from the configured formatting.
Could you please confirm whether this is a bug or an intended behavior?
Also, when Auto Refresh is disabled, is there any supported alternative to apply the grid formatting to the preview screen on initial load (without requiring a manual refresh)?
