In Anaplan XL, using formulas to pull data (Xl3lookup), how do I stop it calculating all the time? I'm often seeing this message of "working…" despite not having changed anything in my workbook to trigger that.

Hi Tom,
AXL formula are excel formula a the end of the day. Just like excel formula they will continue to calculate as the workbook is being used. To stop this, you can use the Excel manual calculation mode.
Regarding the working mode, that typically means one of the cells that the calculation is linked to may not have finished computing. Generally, this is because the model was asleep and the calculation paused to not hang up the entire workbook. The solution is to refresh the member formula that will impact your XL3Lookup. This is generally one of the filter cells as below.
