Module Information Visibility Restricted for Non‑Admin Users on Anaplan page

Why are non‑admin users unable to view Module information on the Anaplan page, while workspace administrators can? (After click the three dots on the grids right up corner)

Are there any configuration options that allow non‑admin users to view module details without granting full workspace administrator access?

The ability to open the source model is based on a user having access to the Page Builder role from Tenant admin.

I would try my hardest to give the end user what they need in the UX.

If there is a repeatable use case for an end user opening up the source module then I would explore other views on the page, or an additional page to give them the details they are looking for.

@Krystaw - Is it for them to actually open the module to check something or more to find out the source to create their own views in excel?

If it's the latter, they can use the "drill down" option and then on the right it would show the module name where it shows the formula.

Thank you for your comment. Our end users are using the XL add-on, therefore they need to know which modules they need to pick. And on the Page, in the Grid, there is the 3 dots where it shows which source modules we use for the grid. They need to know that. For now, I have to document each module on each page for them as reference. It is not efficient at all.

No, it is not the second option. they are not model builder or page builder. They just need to know the module name.

@Krystaw - Read above that it is for excel. You just need to show them how to use the drilldown option for it. They do not need model builder/page builder access for it. Drill-down is available for all users.

With the drilldown (F8) -

The first part before the "." will be the module name. However, this wouldn't work for any input lines so you need at least 1 calculated line there.

yes, the drill down works. But the three dots does not show the module information anymore.

Under the "Source Module(s)", it is empty. There are no module names. I remember there is module name showing before, even for the non-admin users.

@Krystaw - Yes, the 3 dots wouldn't show the name for non WSAs unfortunately. I was suggesting the drill-down as an alternate method so that you don't have to add the name of all modules on all the pages manually.
