Anaplan XL Calculations

I am still now to the calculation of Anaplan XL, i would like to get the proportion in terms of value between child vs parent (within the hierarchy)

For instance, i want to get the % of each 08S( child) vs the parent value (BL TS), i would like IN general a formula that give the proportion of child vs parent dynamically, is it feasible ?

Hi Hugo, you can do this with a Custom Calculation.

Here's an example where I have added a column with the % of parent in it.

• The dimension for the child/parent is G2 Country in my case, so that's what I have for the current member vs parent part of the calc.
  • It needs to go into the Time dimension too so that you can pick it on columns.
• I'm calculating the % for the FY21 column, so that is the Time member in the calc.
  • You can drag in the member from the tree on the left so you don't need to type it)
• I added some number formatting to make it look nice by default.
• Then go into the member picker for Time and select the new item you just defined.
