I am trying to understand how the ITEMLEVEL function works. I am reviewing the example shown in Anapedia (https://help.anaplan.com/itemlevel-756d1428-5f1d-4d79-8274-d075a1bd312f) but I do not understand how Result 1 is calculated. For example, why does California returns 0 but Texas 4? Also, Spain returns 3 but UK returns 0? Also, US returns 0 even though North America is above it hierarchy-wise. There are many of the returned values that do not make sense to me. I would appreciate if someone can shed some light on this. I think if Result 1 is clear to me then Result 2 should make sense. Thank you!
