Issues with Cloudworks Integration Process to run a Process within Data Hub

Hi,

I need to schedule an existing Process within Data Hub Model. This Process has different actions inside such as imports from a csv file which is available daily from API Integration.

I created the process within the TAB "Integration & Processes" and Scheduled with a User with whom I am able to run the process successfully!

What happens is that, when run via Cloudworks integration I have 2 issues:

It seems loading the list but not all the line items (even if there is NO DCA neither in the source or the target)
It shows some failure messages that I don't have when I run it manually.

Can you help me?

Hi @JoanaNdreu,

This usually happens due to differences between manual runs and CloudWorks execution. Key things to check:

File readiness: Ensure the CSV from API is fully available before CloudWorks runs (add delay if needed)
Integration user access: Verify full read/write permissions (lists + modules, no selective access issues)
File consistency: Confirm headers/structure don’t change between runs
Run logs: Check CloudWorks logs for rejected rows or mapping errors
Process dependencies: Ensure list imports complete successfully before module imports

Most likely cause is CloudWorks running before the file is fully ready or picking an incomplete file.

Have you provided access to the "Internal (Full Access)" member in the lists that have selective access?

You need to provide access to this even if the email id used for cloudworks has access provided to the list.

Hi, I don't have selective access enabled, also I don't have Roles (so Read/Write on objects module, lists is not applied in the model) and also there is no Dynamic Cell Access!

Cloudworks accepts limited sources ( like AWS, BigQuery). Is this what you have setup in your case?

If you don't have a selective access setup, the only issue that I can think of is the CSV file itself…

If not all the line-items are imported, it is possible that the file created by your API does not match the file that was used to create the import action. ( different column names? ).

It is needed to have access to the exact file that was created in the cloud environment (AWS or BigQuery).

Hi @alexpavel thanks for your inputs. With Cloudworks I only need to launch an existing Process (which containt many import action) and not an import action itself.

If I run the Process with the same User which I created the Integration Process, it works. If I run the integration Process it gives me issues.

@JoanaNdreu : you mentioned previously that your process contains imports from CSV file. is this the case ? or your process contains only import actions from module-to-module ?

If you launch the process directly in Anaplan Model is different than launching from CloudWorks, especially you have sources as CSV files.

If you launch the process directly in Anaplan model (not via an UX page or dashboard): then the process uses the CSV that was last time uploaded by that user (this also depends of the file properties).

If the import action has a source CSV in CloudWorks, it is needed to check the structure of the file that is used at the run-time.

If the Anaplan process contains only module-to-module imports and you don't have any security access activated on any lists, then it should not matter from where you launch the process.

In general: whatever launch is done with Cloudworks (manually or schedule), in the Anaplan model history log you will see the user "Internal (Full Access)" and it does not matter with what user you created the integration in CloudWorks.

Hi, If the process runs successfully manually but fails or behaves differently in CloudWorks, verify that the CloudWorks integration user has the same model role, selective access, and workspace access as the manual user. Also, review the action failure details in CloudWorks logs.

Missing line items or unexpected failures are often caused by differences in user permissions, selective access, DCA, or source file availability at runtime.
