Background
In the Manage Ownership screen, we understand that records can be created automatically by clicking the Initialize Ownership button.
Our understanding is that records should be created only for entities whose parent member has Group set as its Entity Type, which is one of the properties configured for Entity.
Previously, there was an issue where records were also created for members whose parent member’s Entity Type was not Group, such as members where the parent member’s Entity Type was blank.
We understand that this issue was mentioned in the release notes as having been fixed in V2508.1.
Behavior we confirmed in V2605
However, when we tested this in V2605, the same behavior appeared to be occurring again.
Could you please confirm whether this issue has reoccurred?
We would like to confirm the following three points:
- Is our understanding correct that records should be created only for entities whose parent member has Group set as its Entity Type?
- If this issue is occurring because some configuration is incomplete, could you please let us know where and how it should be configured?
- If this behavior is not correct, could you please let us know when it is expected to be fixed?
